SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A fire in a food truck in Sheboygan on Monday left three individuals with “severe burns.”
Around 5:50 p.m., the Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received a report of a fire located within a food truck in the 2100 block of North 3rd Street. Fire units arrived on scene within three minutes of being dispatched, but the fire had already been extinguished.
Three people suffered “severe burns” during the incident, which was listed as a ‘gas explosion’ in a news release. Advanced Life Support was administered on scene before victims were “rapidly transported” to a local hospital.
The Sheboygan Fire Department reminds people to ensure all safety precautions are in place when using a flammable gas for cooking.
