HORTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A portion of WIS 15 is scheduled to close beginning Monday (Aug. 21) and lasting until November as Outagamie County construction projects continue.
The segment of the state highway will be shut down between Wolfrath’s Landscaping (1/2 mile west of Givens Rd) and Whistler’s Knoll (1/4 mile east of Givens Rd).
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) Northeast Region, the full closure is required to make connections from the existing WIS and from County T to the newly constructed WIS 15 bypass.
The detour is as follows:
- Westbound WIS 15 traffic should take I-41 to US 10 and travel west to US 45, take US 45 north to WIS 15.
- Eastbound WIS 15 traffic should take US 45 south to US 10, follow US 10 east to I-41 and take I-41 north to WIS 15.
