(247NEWSSOURCE) MILWAUKEE – The Brewers won their series against the Rockies in walk-off fashion after a 7-6, extra innings victory in the finale from Milwaukee.
The Brew Crew trailed by a run in the bottom of the 10th until Mark Canha scorched a ground rule double and drove in the game-tying run.
Andruw Monasterio stepped up to the plate and reached base on a throwing error, which scored Canha to end the game.
Brewers manager Craig Counsell said it was a wild game.
Bryse Wilson earned the win after giving up an unearned run in one inning of relief. Milwaukee improved to 62-and-54 and is first in the NL Central. Jurickson Profar slugged a solo shot for Colorado, which fell to 45-and-69.
The Rockies are last in the NL West.
The Brewers have the day off Thursday before opening a 3-game weekend series against the White Sox in Chicago on Friday.
