GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A power pole that caught on fire on Green Bay’s east side caused about $100,000 worth of damage when it spread to nearby vehicle and tree.
Crews were called to 205 Doty Street around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.
When firefighters arrived, they were able to extinguish the vehicle fire and keep it from spreading to the building and other areas.
Occupants of the nearby building were evacuated due to safety concerns.
No one was hurt.
WPS and the Fire Marshal’s Office was called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
