NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Neenah-Menasha firefighters were able to free an individual who was pinned by a fallen tree Wednesday.
Crews responded to 1390 Breezewood Lane in Neenah just after 11 a.m. for a report of a person who was “crushed beneath a tree.”
The patient was conscious and alert to the situation.
Crews began to stabilize the tree to keep it from rolling on to the individual any further.
Then rescue air bags were used to lift the tree off the patient and remove them.
About 22 minutes after arriving on scene, the patient was extricated and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Their condition is not known at this time.
