APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The city of Appleton is looking for the community’s input on how to create an inclusive environment for older adults.
Last year, the AARP designed Appleton as an “Age-Friendly Community.”
The city is releasing an online survey to gather insights and prioritize the needs and preferences of older adults.
The goal is to promote healthy aging and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
The survey is open to any resident of Appleton age 18 or older.

The AARP designation acknowledges that Appleton has taken significant measures to address crucial issues such as accessible housing, transportation, healthcare, social engagement, and other factors that contribute to successful aging.
