GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Looking for something to do this summer? Green Bay’s Playground Program has you covered.
The program kicks off Tuesday at 1 p.m.
It offers a number of free activities in 16 city parks for kids ages 6-18 yeas old to enjoy.

Each park will be supervised by “parkees” leading organized activities, special events, games and sports, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The program ends Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. All Playground Program sites will be closed on July 4 (wading pools will be open normal hours) as well as August 1 for the Kiddie Karnival.
There will also be free lunch provided in the parks. The Green Bay Public School District Food Service provides free lunches to children throughout the city during the summer months, including many Playground Program sites and special events.
