MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – Broadcasters, reporters, sales managers and more gathered this month in Madison (May 6th) for the annual Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards Gala. Stations from large, medium, and small markets across the state were honored for their excellence in Music Programming, News & Talk, and TV News.
WTAQ had an especially strong showing winning ‘Best Of’ awards in the following News categories:

Best Feature Reporting: ‘Ferry To Manitowoc’
Best Use Of Audio: ‘Sturgeon Spawn On The Wolf River’
Best Spot News Coverage: ‘Tornado Wednesday’
Best Hard News: ‘Wisconsin-Ukraine Connection’
Best Web Story: ‘The Girl In The Front Seat’
