Green Bay Is Best In The U.S.

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – U.S. News & World Report has shared its 2023-2024 best places to live in the U.S.

Green Bay topped the list. The metro area has been on the list before, but never at number one.

The report looks at affordability, quality of life and job market.

The 10 Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2023-2024:

1. Green Bay, Wisconsin
2. Huntsville, Alabama
3. Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina
4. Boulder, Colorado
5. Sarasota, Florida
6. Naples, Florida
7. Portland, Maine
8. Charlotte, North Carolina
9. Colorado Springs, Colorado
10. Fayetteville, Arkansas

Green Bay Mayor, Eric Genrich, says housing is something he thinks is a draw to the area.

“I think housing prices have gone crazy all across the country,” said Genrich. “They’ve definitely ticked up here, but in comparison this is still an affordable place to raise a family.”
