OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) –EAA AirVenture is celebrating seven decades of flight with a specialty brew and seven collectible beer cans.
EAA is partnering with Stone Arch Brew Pub of Appleton to produce the commemorative beer.
The Kölsch Style Ale, classified as a “pale bitter European beer,” will be available in select Fox Valley grocery stores throughout July. The beer will also be sold on the AirVenture grounds during the week-long event: July 24-30.
Only one design will be available in grocery stores, but EAA will have seven specialty designs during AirVenture.
A new label will be released each day of AirVenture to represent a piece of EAA history.
Seven different labels but one German beer, which is described as having a “very clean, slightly grainy malt, low bitterness, light hop flavor.”
