GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The name of the person who was pulled, along with a vehicle, from the Fox River in Green Bay over the weekend will not be released at the request of family.
Green Bay police say they have spoken to the next of kin, who asked for the family’s privacy.
Police were called to the area of the river near the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge (Main/Dousman Street) just before 7 p.m. Saturday.
Officers said it appeared a vehicle headed east went into the river just south of the bridge.
The vehicle — with the driver’s body inside — was pulled from the river around 11 p.m.
Police said Monday they were still investigating what caused the incident.
