Bellevue Truck Stop Fire PC: Fox 11 Online
BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fire crews were called late Friday night to a fire at a truck stop in Bellevue.
The call came in at about 11 p.m. for a fire at the Egg Yolk Cafe near Highway 172 and GV.
Upon arrival, crews could see smoke coming from the roof and flames in the area of the kitchen.
An additional two alarm levels were called in to battle the blaze, according to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
The fire department says the fire was contained in about one hour and crews spent another hour at the scene.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for medical reasons, according to Green Bay Metro.
Green Bay, Ashwaubenon, De Pere, and Howard Fire Departments all responded to the call.
Investigators are now looking into the extent of the damage and a potential cause.
