GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A jury convicted former Green Bay elementary school teacher David Villareal of sexually assaulting students on Wednesday.
Villareal, 47, faced four counts – including first-degree sexual assault of a child – for incidents in 2015 and 2016 at Baird Elementary School.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 21.
The trial started Monday. Villareal took the stand in his own defense Tuesday, denying the allegations.
