Crews Quickly Contain Kitchen Fire, says Green Bay Fire Department

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay fire department says it was able to quickly contain a kitchen fire Monday evening.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to a fire in the 1600 block of 9th Street.

The department says cooking is one of the leading causes of home fires and reminds residents to cook with caution and have working smoke alarms.
