Assistant professor of philosophy at St. Norbert College, Ben Chan, appears on Jeopardy! PC: Fox 11 Online
DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A professor from St. Norbert College is hoping to keep his Jeopardy! win streak alive.
Ben Chan is going for his fourth win.
Professor Chan joined Good Day Wisconsin to talk about his experience on the game show and how his team beat Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ team in bar trivia at St. Brendan’s Inn in Green Bay.
Chan said at first, he was anxious about all the attention he would get by being on the show but it’s been great and people are very encouraging and excited for him.
“I just felt completely comfortable up there. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more in my element,” he said.
Chan’s next appearance on the show is in a few weeks because he had COVID.
“Before yesterday’s episode taped, I had tested positive for COVID; it was a very mild case, as you can see, I’m fine, most importantly, my buzzer finger is fine, so I’m excited to watch what happens over the next few weeks, see who I’ll be competing against on May 15th,” Chan explained.
Tune into FOX 11 on Monday, May 15 at 6 p.m. to see how he does.
