KESEHNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Four people are in jail and a child is being cared for by family services after Menominee Tribal officers discovered various drugs throughout a home Friday.
The Menominee Tribal Police Department says officers executed a drug-related search warrant at a home on Onanekwat Resort Road in Keshena. The search was part of an on-going investigation into drug sales and use on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Police say four adults were found in the home with a young child, who is roughly 2 years old.
Officers found “a large amount of drug paraphernalia […] scattered throughout the entire house,” according to the department. The drugs included fentanyl, heroin, prescription pills and marijuana. A gun, as well as alleged evidence of stolen property, was also found inside the home.
Police say the four adults were arrested for the following charges: possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and child abuse.
