TOWN OF LIBERTY, WI (WTAQ) — The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of the individuals who were found deceased inside a home during a welfare check on March 15 in the Town of Liberty.
On March 15, a report was received that 71 year old Beverly Meyer had not gone to a scheduled appointment.
After further investigation, officers located her and her husband, 75 year old Albert Meyer, deceased inside the home on County Highway S.
Lt. Nathan Borman with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says investigation found that Albert Meyer killed his wife and then took his own life during a domestic abuse related incident.
“When it comes to domestic violence, not all of it is reported.” said Borman. “In these situations, it’s very tragic.”
