OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A person was taken to the hospital after an officer-involved shooting in downtown Oshkosh.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of N. Main Street after officers responded to a threats complaint.
Upon arrival, officers located a person in a vehicle. The individual then drove at law enforcement and one officer discharged their weapon, striking the individual, DOJ says.
Officers immediately rendered aid to the individual before they were taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
No officers were injured.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice is investigating and will release any further information.
