MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Menasha man is facing federal charges for allegedly distributing child pornography, after police found thousands of pornographic videos and pictures of children.
Colton Nelson, 24, allegedly used file sharing software to distribute videos and pictures of child porn. Nelson allegedly shared those images with undercover law enforcement, leading to a search of his home.
That search revealed thousands of images and videos containing child pornography located on electronic devices.
If convicted of either of the two distribution charges, Nelson faces up to 20 years in prison. He may also be fined up to $250,000 for each count.
