MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – Police records show homicide suspect Christopher O’Kroley previously attempted to take his own life.
Records show an attempted suicide by O’Kroley on September 24th of 2014.
O’Kroley’s former girlfriend, Megan Joers, says she wishes O’Kroley’s hospitalization and treatment for the attempt on his life had been more extensive.
Madison Police officials say O’Kroley was arrested Wednesday after exchanging gunfire with an officer near stores at the East Towne Mall complex.
Authorities say O’Kroley is a suspect in the shooting death Tuesday of 24-year old Caroline Nosal of Stoughton.
Nosal was fatally shot Tuesday outside the east side grocery store where she worked, and where O’Kroley previously worked.
