APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A fire caused about $75,000 worth of damage to an Appleton home.
Crews were called to the 1500 block of North Charlotte Street around 10:45 a.m. Monday for a report of smoke and flames coming from a home.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames in the living area and brought the fire under control within five minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
The Appleton Fire Department is reminding residents to check their smoke alarms monthly.
