GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to an incident Wednesday morning.
At 8:10 a.m. the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was alerted by Brown County Emergency Communications Center of a possible structure fire at 1424 S. Norwood Ave. in the City of Green Bay.
The first GBMFD unit was on scene within 3 minutes of dispatch. The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to area of origin in the basement.
Due to quick response and extinguishment, fire damage was contained and estimated at $200.
GBMFD Fire Marshal Office investigated the fire and found it to be an electrical issue.
No occupants of the home were displaced due to fire. No firefighter or civilian injuries occurred due to this incident.
