SCHLESWIG, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Manitowoc County home was completely destroyed by fire Friday morning.
Just after 5:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to 19735 Highway 57 in the town of Schleswig, near Kiel, for a report of smoke and flames coming from the residence.
When firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke and flames visible from three sides of the structure.
No one was inside at the time of the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
Roadways near the home were closed while crews were on scene.
