GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Department of Corrections says a former Green Bay priest is being investigated over allegations he violated probation.
Richard Thomas is accused of violating a condition of his extended supervision, according to the DOC.
Thomas, a retired priest of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay, was charged in 2016 with repeatedly exposing himself to a minor.
“I certainly am remorseful,” Thomas said in court in 2016. “I take full responsibility for what happened.”
Thomas was arrested in 1990 for exposing himself, but was never convicted, and was arrested again for exposure in 1993.
