GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – UPDATE: The lockdown was lifted just before 2 p.m. after being initially being put in place just before 1 p.m.
A report was made that an East High School student, who was not at school Monday, may have possession of a weapon and had mentioned bringing it to school, according to school officials.
Police were able to locate the student and the lockdown was lifted afterward.

As a precautionary measure, Green Bay East High School is in a “secure the building” situation because of a concern outside of the school, according to the Green Bay Area Public School District.
The school day is continuing as normal inside the building.
The school district says they are working with local law enforcement and will provide more information once it becomes available.
