OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – A crash Tuesday evening on S. Washburn Street between Ripple Road and Fisk Avenue killed an Oshkosh man.
Police say the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. when a passenger vehicle traveling north hit a front-loader from the back and flipped over in the road.
Emergency crews attempted to save the 60-year-old man as he was taken to the hospital, where he died.
His name has not been released and the driver of the front loader vehicle was not injured.
Police are continuing to investigate and they don’t think weather or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
Following the crash, a portion of Washburn Street was closed for a time.
