GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Six Green Bay-area organizations have received grants in order to impact low-income families.
The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, with the Stand Together Foundation, awarded $472,250 to six non-profits to go towards self-sufficiency programs, which help local families reach work, education, and stable housing goals.
Those non-profit programs include:
- Bay Area Workforce Development Board – Transitions to Success Collaboration
- Community Benefit Tree – Green Bay Resource Center
- Ecumenical Partnership for Housing – Prevention Initiative
- Forward Service Corporation in Green Bay – Transportation Alliance for New Solutions (TrANS) Construction Training Program
- Golden House – Safe Home for Victims Program
- UW-Extension Brown County – Rent Smart Program
