Michael Ingold PC: Fox 11 Online
SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Michael Ingold pleaded not guilty Wednesday to strangling a woman.
No trial date was set on the lone count of first-degree intentional homicide for the June 25 attack. Ingold returns to court April 18 for a final conference, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, Ingold called police on June 25 to report the woman’s death. She has not been identified.
An autopsy showed her injuries were consistent with “manual strangulation.”
In several interviews with police, Ingold denied being responsible for the death, even though they were the only two people in the town of Wescott house at the time.
