GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The trial date has been set for a trio of suspects in a Green Bay shooting.
The alleged shooter, Ricardo Torres, along with suspects Andrew Flor and Richard Torres will be in court on April 23 for trial.
Flor and Torres pled not guilty Thursday to being party to the crime of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Torres previously pleaded not guilty to attempted homicide.
The charges stem back to a December 10 incident on Western Avenue in which a victim was shot six times, but survived.
The victim told police Richard Torres loaned him money to move from California to Wisconsin, and Ricardo Torres helped him get a job, according to the criminal complaint.
According to the victim, Richard Torres at first told him he did not have to pay him back, but later Torres and his cousins started calling and harassing the victim about money.
On December 10, the four suspects and another man drove to the victim’s home on Western Avenue, according to prosecutors.
Ricardo Torres got out of the vehicle and shot the victim a total of six times, according to prosecutors.
There is an arrest warrant issued for Angel Villalobos, who is a fourth suspect.
