RIPON, WI (WTAQ) – It was announced on Friday that Ripon will have a new banking option.
Plans for Fortifi Bank to expand into Ripon are underway and the bank at 125 Watson Street is expected to open in the summer.
According to the bank, it will be a triangular building located in the heart of the city’s downtown.
The building that Fortifi plans on taking over was originally in the late 1960s established as a banking facility.
“After careful evaluation, we determined that the exciting growth and revitalization happening in Ripon aligned with our bank’s mission to grow Wisconsin,” says President and CEO Eric Cerbins in a statement. “We are excited to become part of the community fabric and invest in the financial futures of Ripon citizens and businesses.”
Fortifi Bank’s branch network will now be expanded to nine locations with the addition, which span from the Green Bay to Madison area.
Their bank locations include various services, such as:
- checking
- savings
- home loans
- business lending
- wealth management
- private banking
- treasury management
“We are a community bank focused on the financial well-being of each client we serve while offering all the options and conveniences of a big bank,” says Kristen Hermanson, branch manager, in a press release.
