OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The EAA Aviation Museum, in Oshkosh, hosted Family Flight Fest.
The weekend event let kids build and design their own paper airplanes and put together a glider to fly around and take home.
Radio-controlled airplanes also zipped through the museum for kids to watch.
For some families, this event is an annual tradition.
“My kids love coming here spending a lot of time on the planes, spend a lot of time with the activities. They really like to build the fun stuff and each year, they kind of, build upon what they learned last year,” said Jay Zielinski.
Even though it’s a couple of weeks away, the museum says this event is a kick off to spring.
EAA AirVenture starts on Monday, July 22.
