DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – A popular tavern in De Pere was damaged following a fire Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called out to Nicky’s Lionhead Tavern around 3:30 and discovered smoke coming from the walls.
The business was open at the time, but no injuries were sustained.
The scene was cleared around 6:30 p.m. and officials are still looking into how much damage the blaze caused the business.
According to the tavern, they expect to be closed for a couple of days.
