OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – On Wednesday, officers were called for a report of a male who came to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The Oshkosh Police Department says the 27-year-old male from Oshkosh arrived at a local hospital at approximately 10:19 p.m. with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Upon speaking with the man, officers detected a number of inconsistencies in his story of what happened.
Police ventured to the location of the shooting and executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of 2nd Avenue.
A 43-year-old woman was then arrested by police for possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
This is an isolated incident and the public is not in danger, according to police.
