SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ) – A Shawano County woman has been charged with drug delivery for allegedly handing out marijuana-infused cookies during the Shawano St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
57-year-old Cathleen Krause is facing a total of five charges.
The criminal complaint states that the Kause was handing out the tainted cookies while watching the parade Saturday morning.
A person at the parade told a deputy that the cookies had marijuana in them.
The officer reported that Krause was visibly intoxicated when they approached her and she had a bag of cookie crumbs and gummy candy that both tested positive for marijuana.
Krause made an initial appearance in court Monday, and returns to court April 1 for the balance of initial appearance.
