OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Two men were arrested for child sex trafficking on Friday, according to the Oshkosh Police Department.
The charges come after a 17-year-old runaway from Oshkosh was found on March 25 in Eau Claire.
Police say that the 17-year-old made a connection with a 25-year-old Oshkosh man online on January 27, 2019.
The 25-year-old man has now been arrested on a string of offenses, including human trafficking of a child, sexual assaulting child, child enticement, and a sex offender registry violation.
Police say that a 36-year-old Menasha man was also arrested for human trafficking and child enticement, but did not explain his involvement with the Oshkosh man and the teen.
