BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) – A small kitchen fire popped-up in Bellevue Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.
The blaze started inside the kitchen at Blue Opus on 1390 Bellevue St., just after 9 a.m.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames and minimize any smoke damage.
Fire officials report that appliances and the surrounding area were not damaged in the incident.
A cook was inside the kitchen at the time preparing food, while the restaurant itself was not open yet.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
