MENOMINEE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – As floodwaters rushed over the roadway, a portion of Highway 55 in Menominee County was forced to close earlier today.
That stretch of highway between the east and west branches of Highway M, north of Keshena, has since reopened according to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department.
The Wolf River, which runs just to the west, parallels the highway.
The department posted a video to their Facebook page which showed a shoulder of the road washed out.
