SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A three-month-old girl, a three-year-old girl and a 35-year-old man, all found dead in a Seymour home Friday morning.
Since then, neighbors in the community have started a memorial at the foot of this tree.
Seymour officers say it all started after a disturbance call came in late Thursday night, around 11:20 p.m.
“The initial responding officers attempted to make contact at the residence and we were unable to make contact with the people inside,” explained public information officer Brett Stauber. “After repeated attempts to contact assistance was requested from the Outagamie County Emergency Response Team.”
Authorities were able to get into the home around 8 a.m Friday, where they found the three bodies inside.
Since then Seymour has partnered with the Department of Criminal Investigation to handle the three deaths.
Stauber says there is no active threat at this time and evacuated residents in the area may return to their homes.
If you head to the intersection of N. Main Street and Pearl Street you might still see the memorial, as it continues to gather stuffed animals, flowers and pinwheels to remember what the community has lost.
