SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ) – Family continues to mourn the loss of two young girls that were found dead in Seymour.
An obituary has identified the girls as 4-year-old Mattelin “Mattie” Annie Samson and her 4-month-old sister Hailey Kaye, whose last name was not given.
The girls were found dead Friday morning in a home in the 600 block of N. Main Street along with a 35-year-old man.
The name of the man has not been released and he was not mentioned in the girls’ obituary.
Police said on Sunday that they were not looking for any person of interest in the case and that the girls’ mother was safe.
The investigation, which is still going on, has been turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation.
Investigators have not said how the trio died.
A memorial fund has been established by the family through Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home.
