GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – We’re just days away from President Donald Trump’s trip to Green Bay.
And today, the President tweeted about his Saturday visit to the Resch Center.
Mr. Trump says he’s excited to be coming to town and is hoping for a big turnout. He says there’s much to talk about.
This will be the President’s first trip here since his election in 2016.
James Fitzgerald, chair of the Brown County Republican Party, said the local chapter has been inundated with calls since news of the rally first came out.
He said the rally will be the kickoff for Trump’s re-election efforts in Wisconsin.
Trump eked out a narrow victory in the state in 2016.
The rally is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with doors set to open at the Resch Center at 4 p.m.
