SEYMOUR, WI (WTAQ) – The name of a Seymour man found dead in a home last week, along with two young girls, was released on Tuesday by state officials.
According to the state Division of Criminal Investigation, the body of 35-year-old Andrew R. Poppe was found inside a home in the 600 block of N. Main Street last Friday morning, along with 4-year-old Matteline A. Samson and 3-month-old Hailey K. Poppe.
In an obituary earlier this week the girls were identified by family members as sisters.
According to investigators, the public is not in danger as this was the result of “an isolated incident.”
The investigation is still ongoing and more details have not been released about how the three died.
To help the girls’ family, a fund has been set up and more information on that effort can be found in their obituary.
