GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay man plead not guilty to murder on Tuesday and will be headed to trial.
32-year-old Brion Hatcher is accused of shooting and killing Tavarious Edwards inside a home on George Street on January 27.
Court records show that a four-day trial is scheduled for Aug. 13.
Witnesses told authorities Hatcher believed Edwards stole $1,000 from him, according to the criminal complaint.
Hatcher denied having any problem with Edwards or involvement in his murder when speaking with police.
Edwards died from a gunshot wound in the neck.
