GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – To meet the growing demand for beauty technicians, a new salon and spa learning lab has opened in the Fox Valley.
The New Trilogy Salon & Spa is on the Fox Valley Technical College campus in Grand Chute.
The 3,300 square-foot space will allow students-in-training to practice hair styling, massage therapy, and esthetician work.
Kim Olson, FVTC dean of service division, tells FOX 11 space was needed after two schools in the area closed in recent years: ‘Gill Tech’ in Appleton and ‘Paul Mitchell The School’ in Green Bay.
“We have an opportunity to provide programming that allows students to obtain their license upon completion of the program and then find employment in the industry.”
Each beauty program has 12 students per instructor ratio.
