MIAMI, FL (WTAQ) – Things looked bleak for the Green Bay Packers, falling behind 20-10 to the Miami Dolphins late in the 1st half of today’s game, before they stop the bleeding and pull out a 26-20 road victory.
The comeback actually started late in the 2nd quarter as the Packers managed to get a field goal , one of four Mason Crosby kicked, before halftime and go into the locker room down by just a touchdown.
The second half was all Packers as Green Bay scored 13 points and the defense came up with 3 interceptions to snuff out any thoughts of the Dolphins putting more points on the board.
The win leaves the Packers, at one point 4 & 8 on the season and now 7 & 8, in playoff contention with only two weeks to go in the regular season.
Green Bay closes things out with two games at Lambeau Field. The first, next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. They close out the schedule January 8th, hosting the Detroit Lions.
