GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Confidence far bigger than fear.
That was the message from some women who attended Sunday’s ‘Gather the Girls: A Toast to You’ in Green Bay.
The gala featured a mom and daughter brunch focusing on online safety and life skills for teen girls.
The event is in response to local women concerned about human trafficking and sexual violence in our area.
Victoria Valentino, who is among several women who claimed to have been drugged and raped by Bill Cosby was at the event.
She tells FOX 11 about her message for others fighting fear.
“I think it takes self exam. I think it takes getting out and being alone and taking a walk in nature and just going within and trying to remember back when that last time was when you really felt yourself.”
The theme was fighting fear with food and empowerment.
