OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) – The body of a missing Menominee River boater was recovered near Oconto on Wednesday.
Just before 8 a.m., fishermen found the body of a man in the Bay of Green Bay, which was discovered about three miles southeast of Harbor Road.
The Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified the man as 58-year-old Benjamin Tart.
Tart went missing on April 29 after his boat capsized on the Menominee River in Marinette.
The other man inside the boat was rescued by Marinette Fire.
