APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – The Slow-No Wake Ordinance that was in place in Outagamie County was lifted Wednesday.
The Slow No Wake Ordinance was put in place to protect the homeowners on the Wolf River, Fox River, and Embarrass River.
The order imposes a slow, no-wake zone for boaters operating within 500 feet of any permanent building.
It was reported earlier that the order would remain in effect until the water levels receded enough to not be a flooding threat.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department says they are working on removing the “No Wake” signage from the landings.
