APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A free summer food program has kicked off in the Appleton Area School District.
School leaders say the goal is to provide a nutritious meal to students when school is not in session.
The program offers both breakfast and lunch, while no sign up is needed and meals are provided at various building locations.
The Green Bay Area School District kicked off its summer lunch program last week.
