GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Broadway Inc. kicked off the summer with Pat Schorr in the park.
The event was Monday night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pocket Park on Broadway.
After a ribbon cutting ceremony, there was a concert featuring local musician Pat Schorr.
This is all part of a new program designed to try and strengthen the community.
If you missed it, don’t worry, an event manager says there will be plenty more opportunities.
Samantha Maass says, “We are trying to aim for about two events per month this summer. We are looking at doing some puppies in the park events, yoga, some different pop-up art galleries, the community has done a great job of letting us know what we want to see.”
Pocket Park was built back in April and will be available for use all summer long.
