GREEN LAKE, WI (WTAQ) – A teen has been charged in connection with the beating of a student that took place at Berlin High School.
A delinquency petition – the juvenile version of a criminal charge – has been filed in connection to a video from April 18 that appears to show one student hitting another student on the head repeatedly.
The first student appears to move toward stomping on the second students head, after he falls to the ground, when the camera turns away.
According to Green Lake County District Attorney Andrew Christensen, one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety was filed and the teen makes an initial court appearance on July 9.
The public identification of minors charged in juvenile court is prohibited by state law.
